The Moorish Stitch

Happy new year! Each month in 2025 we’ll be sharing a needlepoint stitch we’ve been loving.

Up first is the Moorish stitch! I love the woven look and texture that this stitch creates on the canvas. It’s a great option if you’re a beginner or just new to trying decorative stitches.

I recently used this stitch for the background of our Bougie doxie canvas.
